Home-based business in Australia is a thriving growth industry, spawned by intuitive stay-at-home entrepreneurs taking a direct route along the information superhighway. As a result, a great proportion of IT businesses are run from home.
In acknowledgment of this boom sector, the Australian Home-Based Business Awards (AHBBA) will be held during the Australian Business & IT Expo (ABITE) on Saturday August 16, 2008, at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Southbank, Melbourne.
Home based business operators are eligible to enter one of five categories for the AHBBA: Business & IT Services; Personal Services; Trade; Merchandising; Food, Hospitality, & Farming.
AHBBA entries close on August 1, 2008 and entry forms are available from www.homebasedbusinessawards.com.au.
