Generation Linux: bringing the OS to Australia's students 14/06/2000 10:26:29
National Science week saw the launch of Generation Linux, a series of Install-fests and seminars aimed at uniting science and Linux for students both young and old. This is a good sign that grass roots efforts in Australia's Linux community are alive and well: in the true tradition of Linux itself, Generation Linux posited information in the hands of the public -- a young and enthusiastic public at that!
